About CLR
Since 2007, we have been spinning the classics. Traditional Country Music, and reverence for the Legends that created it will never die. Not on our watch.
Our host
Shawn was largely influenced by his mother's passion for Country Music, and grew up listening to what the industry is now calling “The Legends.” So when the opportunity arose to work on a Radio show featuring nothing but, he jumped onboard. “So far, the response has been overwhelmingly positive,” he says, “and I'm having a blast putting each show together, despite the fact that it's a lot of work digging up all the facts and figures about which song was what chart number in 1968, and who wrote what about whom for what’s-his-name to sing. I love bringing up old memories and old feelings and having someone call or email me to tell me that, ‘Oh, man - I forgot all about that song’ or ‘Wow, I haven't heard that song in forever - it was my favorite when I was in high-school!’ And I love finding out that there are listeners out there who are as passionate about country music - and country legends - as I am.”
“CLR rocks!”
